Calphalon Cookware

The real combination of innovation, trusted performance and pure design

Calphalon is a big name for various materials of cookware. In 1963, after the founder Ronald Kasperzak took over a small aluminum company in Toledo, which produced heavy-duty cookware for the food industry. Then the new holder, Ron, successfully brought to commercial cookware market under the new name Commercial Aluminum Cookware Company. Their products, superior heat-responsive aluminum cookware, were hearing for high-quality and satisfied commercial kitchens, Epicure and pro chefs.

By late 1960s, Commercial Aluminum Company adapted a new aerospace technology called hard-anodized to create the new professional line named Calphalon. After Calphalon was approachable to retails in 1976, the brand has become the darling among consumers who prefer quality, innovation and well-design cookware. From that time onwards, the firm has continued launching the new lines of sophistical and practical products, includes hard-anodized, stainless steel and nonstick cookware, as well as expert’s cutleries and other kitchen appliances.

Today Calphalon is a most successful brand of the market. While earlier models have become the legend of anodized cookware, their newer lines have been entrusted by consumers and pros, includes Unison, Contemporary, Tri-Ply and AccuCore.

Calphalon Classic
Calphalon Classic

Calphalon Classic is a workable set for students, newbies or those who want a simply good set for a little upgrading. Among the 3-ply bonded base comrades, it’s outpaced for sturdiness and cooking ability—heats faster and gives acceptably good distribution. It won’t give you top-notch performance and solidness like those multi-ply models, but it does fulfill your daily functions and is all stovetop-compatible.

A strong reason to buy it is: there’re tons of supportive features for beginners and home cooks. Given an entry level, it has the ergonomic stay-cool handles, the measuring marks inside the pots, and the glass lids with pouring spouts and strainer holes to help preventing nasty drips and draining pastas without a need of additional strainers.
